Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between ET “Polikom-Slavey Dimov”, operator of Hotel Saint George, hereinafter referred to as “the Hotel”, and the persons who make a reservation or use the services of the Hotel, hereinafter referred to as “the Client” or “the Guest”.
By making a reservation through the website of Hotel Saint George, the online reservation system used by the Hotel, or another official channel, the Client confirms that they have read and accept these Terms and Conditions and the conditions of the selected rate or offer.
1. Reservations
The Hotel undertakes to provide the requested and confirmed services in accordance with the details of the reservation, including the period of stay, number of nights, number of guests, room type, selected rate and agreed price.
The Client is obliged to provide accurate and up-to-date information when making the reservation.
Additional requests and preferences specified during the reservation — such as bed type, baby cot, early check-in, late check-out or other special requirements — are fulfilled subject to the Hotel’s availability and are not considered guaranteed unless expressly confirmed.
The reservation is considered confirmed after confirmation has been received from the Hotel or the reservation system used and, where applicable, after the required payment has been successfully made.
2. Prices
The prices published on the website of Hotel Saint George are stated in euro (EUR), unless expressly indicated otherwise.
The final price of the reservation is determined depending on the period of stay, the number and age of the guests, the room type, the duration of the stay, the selected rate and the offers applicable at the time.
Information on whether the price includes breakfast, tourist tax, additional services or other components is specified in the relevant offer or during the reservation process.
The Hotel has the right to change prices and offers for future reservations depending on season, occupancy and availability.
The price of an already confirmed reservation will not be changed unless the Client requests a change to its parameters.
3. Payment
Payment conditions depend on the selected rate or offer.
Partial or full advance payment may be required in order to guarantee the reservation. The exact amount and conditions are specified before the reservation is confirmed.
Payment may be made through the payment methods available at the time of reservation, including debit or credit card and other provided payment methods.
When the payment is processed by a bank or an external payment service provider, the Client may be redirected to its secure payment environment.
Hotel Saint George does not store full bank card details when card payment is processed directly by a bank or an external payment service provider.
4. Cancellations and Changes
Unless otherwise stated in the specific rate or offer, a change or cancellation without penalty may be made up to 7 days before the check-in date.
In the event of cancellation or change after this period, the Hotel has the right to retain the prepaid amount in accordance with the conditions of the respective reservation.
When the selected rate has special conditions — for example a non-refundable rate, promotional rate or a different cancellation period — the conditions of the specific rate shall prevail.
In the event of a change request, the Hotel cannot guarantee availability for the new dates or the preservation of the same price.
In the event of a no-show without prior cancellation, the cancellation conditions of the respective reservation shall apply.
5. Refunds
When the Client is entitled to a full or partial refund of the amount paid, the refund shall be made using the same payment method used for the original payment, where this is technically possible.
In the case of payment by bank card, the amount shall be refunded to the same card.
The Hotel processes approved refunds without undue delay. The actual time for the amount to be credited may depend on the relevant bank, card organisation or payment provider.
6. Check-in and Check-out
Check-in and check-out times are indicated on the Hotel’s website and/or in the reservation confirmation.
Early check-in or late check-out is provided subject to availability and after confirmation by the Hotel. An additional fee may be charged for these services.
Upon check-in, guests must present a valid identity document when required under applicable legislation.
7. Children and Additional Guests
The age at which a guest is considered a child, as well as the applicable conditions for their accommodation, are determined in the relevant rate or reservation system.
The Hotel has the right to refuse accommodation of a larger number of persons than the maximum permitted capacity of the reserved room.
8. Guest Conduct
Guests are obliged to comply with the Hotel’s internal rules, safety and fire protection rules, and not to cause inconvenience or danger to other guests and staff.
The Guest is responsible for any damage caused by them or their companions to Hotel property.
In the event of a serious breach of public order, safety rules or the rights of other guests, the Hotel may take the necessary actions in accordance with applicable legislation.
9. Personal Belongings
Guests should take the necessary care of their personal belongings, documents, money and valuables.
Where a safe or another secure storage option is available, it is recommended that valuables are stored there.
The Hotel’s liability for guests’ property is determined in accordance with applicable legislation.
10. Force Majeure
The Hotel shall not be liable for non-performance caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, fires, accidents, interruptions of communications or supply, actions of competent authorities and other extraordinary circumstances.
In such situations, the parties shall make reasonable efforts to find an appropriate solution.
11. Complaints
In the event of a problem during the stay, the Guest should inform reception or a representative of the Hotel in a timely manner, so that an opportunity is given for the issue to be resolved.
Reports, complaints and other messages may be sent through the official contact details published on the website.
12. Personal Data and Cookies
Personal data is processed in accordance with the published Privacy Policy.
Information about cookies and similar technologies is available in the Cookie Policy.
13. Applicable Law
For matters not regulated by these Terms and Conditions, the current legislation of the Republic of Bulgaria and the applicable law of the European Union shall apply.
The parties shall make efforts to resolve any disputes voluntarily. If this is not possible, the dispute shall be referred to the competent authorities in accordance with the established procedure.
14. Changes to the Terms and Conditions
Hotel Saint George may update these Terms and Conditions.
For an already confirmed reservation, the conditions presented to the Client at the time of making the reservation shall apply, unless a subsequent change is in the Client’s favour or results from a mandatory legal requirement.
